Rise Garden 3: Connecting To WiFi
November 19 2024 5:49am • Est. Read Time: 2 MINOnce your Rise Garden 3 is assembled and added to your Rise Gardens app, you can connect your Garden to Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz required) to customize your light schedule. Please note that enterprise networks are not supported.
To proceed, you'll need to grant the app temporary Bluetooth and location permissions. These permissions allow the app to locate your Rise Garden 3 and configure it for internet connectivity.
To connect your Garden to WiFi, please follow these instructions:
Open Settings: Tap the settings icon on the right side of your screen.
Connect Device: Go to Device Details and tap "Connect."
Verify Checklist: Review the "Let's Get Started" checklist to ensure you've completed all steps.
Reset Power: Press and hold the power button on your power strip for 10 seconds. Release when you hear a click. The light will blink blue.
Connect to Network: Tap "Continue" in the app. The app will search for your Garden. Once found, you'll be prompted to connect to a Wi-Fi network.
Establish connection: Once you've selected your network, enter the password. The app will send the credentials to your Garden, establishing the connection.
After a successful Wi-Fi connection, you can customize your light schedule or let your Garden follow our preset 16-hour cycle starting at 7 AM. Please note, that your water pump's operational schedule will mirror that of your light schedule.

Troubleshooting
If the Wi-Fi connection is unsuccessful, your Garden's lights will operate 24/7. To turn the lights off each LED Power Supply must be unplugged individually. In the meantime, there are a few things we can do to ensure a successful WiFi connection:
Force quit the Rise Garden Application.
Unplug the Power Strip from Power for 10 seconds.
Plug the Power Strip back in and Restart the process.
Ensure that Bluetooth has been turned on and permissions have been enabled. If they have not, go to your phone settings.
iPhone: Go to Settings > Rise Gardens. Ensure that you have allowed permission on Location, Bluetooth, and Local Network.
Android: Go to Settings > Permissions: Allow permission on Location, Nearby Devices, and Notifications.
