Rise Garden 3 Grow Lights

Your Rise Garden 3's Grow Lights provide the essential light spectrum your plants need to thrive. The system consists of two light modules:

  • First Light Module: Connected to the control module via a light cable.

  • Second Light Module: Connected to the first light module.

In addition, our custom LED Grow Lights utilize three specific types of light:

  • Red LED 660nm

  • Blue LED 450nm

  • White LED 4000K

To ensure your plants thrive, provide 16 hours of daily light. For added convenience, set a custom light schedule using our app. Refer to our article "App: Setting a Light Schedule" for more information.

Care & Maintenance

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your lights, it's crucial to prune your plants regularly. Overgrown plants can encroach on the light panels, causing moisture buildup. This condensation can lead to electrical shorts, damaging both the light panels and the Garden's delicate electronics (see example below).

To determine the optimal pruning time for your plant, refer to the Plant Care Timeline. This resource will indicate the specific stage at which your plant requires pruning. Once you've identified the appropriate time, consult our article, "Caring for Your Plants: Pruning" for detailed instructions.

Troubleshooting

If your Grow Lights are having some problems, here are some things that you should check right away:

  • Verify that each of the light connection with the Light Power Supply are properly connected.

If the above checks out, please identify your specific issue and follow the corresponding troubleshooting steps below:

Issue 1: Second Light Module is Off

It's common for issues with the first light module to affect the second one. To troubleshoot this issue, please follow the steps below:

  • Turn the garden Off

  • Disconnect the second light module from the first light module.

  • Connect the second light module connector to the LED Power Supply cable and connect to the LED Power Supply to the power strip.

  • Turn the Garden on, does the second light module turn on?

Issue 2: Both Light Modules are off

If both light modules are malfunctioning, we'll need to identify the root cause. To pinpoint the exact issue, please follow these steps:

To determine if the issue is originating from the second light module:

  • Turn the Garden Off.

  • Disconnect the light modules from each other. Do not disconnect the first light module from the LED Power Supply.

  • Turn the Garden on, does the first light module turn on? If so, there is a problem with the second light module and it should be replaced.

To determine if the issue is originating from the first light module:

  • Turn the Garden Off.

  • Disconnect the light modules from each other.

  • Disconnect the first light module connector from the LED Power Supply.

  • Connect the second light module to the LED Power Supply.

  • Turn the Garden on, does the second light module turn on? If so, there is a problem with the first light module and it should be replaced.

To determine if the issue is originating from the LED Power Supply.

  • Turn off the Garden.

  • Disconnect the LED Power Supply from the first light module.

  • Connect the first light module to another LED Power Supply.

  • Turn the Garden on, do the lights turn on? If so, there is a problem with the LED Power Supply and it should be replaced.
