Family Rise Garden LED Light Modules

Your Family Rise Garden's Grow Lights deliver the essential light your plants need to thrive. Our customized LED Grow Lights are made up of 3 types of lights:

  • Red LED: 660nm

  • Blue LED: 450nm

  • White LED: 4000K

To ensure your plants thrive, provide 16 hours of daily light. For added convenience, set a custom light schedule using our app. Refer to our article "App: Setting a Light Schedule" for more information.

Care & Maintenance

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your lights, it's crucial to prune your Garden regularly. Overgrown plants can encroach on the light panels, causing moisture buildup. This condensation can lead to electrical shorts, damaging both the light panels and the Garden's delicate electronics (see example below).

To determine the optimal pruning time for your plant, refer to the Plant Care Timeline. This resource will indicate the specific stage at which your plant requires pruning. Once you've identified the appropriate time, consult our article, "Caring for Your Plants: Pruning" for detailed instructions.

Troubleshooting

If your Grow Lights are having some problems, here are some things that you should check right away:

  • Verify that each of the plugs for the LED Grow Lights are plugged in completely to the control board (you should hear a click when they are securely plugged in)***

  • Verify that the plug for your water-level sensor is plugged in the right direction (with the sticker side facing the water tank)

If the above checks out, please identify your specific issue and follow the corresponding troubleshooting steps below:

Issue 1: Lights Are Off, Partially Off or Flickering

  • When you plug the affected LED Grow Light into the working light ports, does the same issue persist?

  • When you plug the working LED Grow Lights into the non-working light port, does the same issue persist?

Issue 2: Light Shelf Left Light Module is off

One potential cause of your grow light issue is a loose connection between the two LED light panels. To resolve this, please verify that the connector cord linking the panels is securely plugged in. Refer to the illustration below. Ensure that these cables are firmly connected to each other.

If this does not resolve the issue, refer to the troubleshooting steps for Issue 1.

For your safety and to prevent damage to your garden's electronics, please unplug the garden from the power source before checking any connections.
