Power Supply
Our Power Supply helps run your Garden 24/7. It helps drive all the operations in the Garden.
Control Board
The Control Board, the Garden’s brain, helps run the Garden 24/7. It powers the various functions of the Indoor Garden including lights, water sensor (ultrasonic module), WiFi, and pump.
Water Pump
The water pumps in our Family Rise Garden operate 24/7 to ensure steady flow of oxygen and nutrient circulation. Our first Gardens received a DC30 water pump, which connected to the Garden’s control board to operate. However, in late 2021, we upgraded our water pump model to DC40 water pump. The DC40 much bigger in size and powerful needs its own power supply: DC40 Power Supply.
Water Sensor
Our water sensor, also know as ultrasonic sensor, measures the water level inside the cabinet. Located under the cabinet's ceiling it sends data to the control board, which is then displayed the level on Water Level Lights on the front of your cabinet.
LED Grow Lights
The amount of LED Grow Lights you have in your Garden will vary depending on your garden level. The Family Rise Garden has two different Grow lights: Light Shelf & Light Metal Tray. The LED Grow Lights are automatically set to run for 16 hours every day from the time that they are powered on for the first time. If you set your Garden up for the first time at 1pm, for example, the lights will run for 16 hours until 5am the next morning. Once connected to WiFi, you can set a Light Schedule.
UX Board
The UX Board located behind the Family Rise Garden's cabinet door, helps display the water level lights and helps dim the lights in the Garden with the use of the light dimmer.
The UX Board helps reflect the water level through the water level lights. The number and color of illuminated lights correspond to different water levels. It also allows access for the Light Dimmer button. The Light Dimmer is used to reduce the intensity of the lights from 100%, 50% and turning them off.
Plumbing
Our plumbing is made up of our Supply Line, Drain and Supply conduits & tubes.
Supply Tube: Supply tube delivers water and nutrients from the water tank to the plants (Pipes come in two different sizes, tall and short).
Drain Tube: Drain tube allows excess water to flow out of the trays and back into the water tank. (Pipes come in two different sizes, tall and short).
Drain Conduit: Drains the water from the water trays into the water reservoir.
Supply Conduit: A supply line is inserted through the Supply Conduit and carries water throughout the Garden.
