Rise Garden 2: Power Supply Failure
November 19 2024 4:02pm • Est. Read Time: 2 MINIf your Rise Garden 2 loses power, do not panic. The Garden is designed to keep your plants alive for some time, even without light or water flow. To ensure your plants remain hydrated, check the water level in each water tray.
Please note, we've upgraded the power supply for improved durability and longevity. Please identify your current power supply and follow the troubleshooting steps below.
Power Supply: PC-240125
Fully disconnect the power supply from the Garden and outlet for 5 minutes
Plug only the power supply into an outlet in the wall making sure the Garden is not connected
Flip the switch on the power supply - does the light turn on and (it should be green)?
If the light does come on, flip the switch on the power supply off and then plug it back into the control module
Turn the power supply back on - is your Garden receiving any power? Is the wifi light on on your control module?
If the Power Supply indicator light is on but the Garden is not operational, another component may be causing this issue. Please perform the following troubleshooting steps:
1. Power Cycle:
Turn off the power supply for 30 seconds, then turn it back on.
2. Check WiFi Light:
Look for the WiFi status light on the control box.
On: The Garden is receiving power.
Off: Proceed to follow the troubleshooting steps below.
3. Isolate the Issue:
Turn off the Garden and unplug everything from the control box.
Turn the Garden on, is the wifi light on? If so, it means that one of the plugged-in components may be causing the issue.
Turn off the Garden and choose one component (pump, one of the grow lights, water level sensor, door display, accessory) to plug back into the control module.
Turn on the Garden. Is the WiFi status light illuminated?
If the WiFi status light is lit, repeat the step above for the next component.
If the WiFi status light is not lit, the plugged-in component is likely the issue.
