Connecting to WiFi
If you just created a Garden you will see that your WiFi icon shows there is no connection. To start the provisioning process, go to the settings icon and follow the instructions below:
If you have not done so yet, you will be asked to give the application Bluetooth and location permissions. The Rise Garden application needs short-term access to location settings (precise) and Bluetooth services so that it can find your garden and configure it to connect to the internet. Please follow the steps below for iPhone or Android. Please follow your phone's instructions to enable these settings and permissions.
iPhone: Go to Settings > Rise Gardens
Android: Go to Setting > Rise Gardens
Next, the phone will look for and connect to your garden via Bluetooth. If your phone is unable to connect to the garden via Bluetooth, you will be guided down a different process where you will use your garden's Wi-Fi capabilities to configure it correctly. For more information on this process in detail: Connecting your Garden without Bluetooth
After connecting your Garden to Bluetooth, you will be prompted to select or type in your Wi-Fi network name and password.
Lastly, the garden will then test it’s connection to the internet and confirm connectivity.
If there are issues, you will be guided through some troubleshooting steps. For more information on troubleshooting, you can learn more here: Troubleshooting your internet connection.
