Family Rise Garden: Power Supply Failure
November 19 2024 6:12amIf your Family Rise Garden loses power, don't worry! Plants are more resilient than we think, and they will not immediately die. If the garden loses power it may be for the following reasons:
Power Outage:
If the power at your house is out due to a storm, breaker issue, etc., be sure to keep your plants hydrated while waiting for power to return.
Directly fill your water trays as needed. (Note: Be careful not to let your reservoir overfill. You may need to drain your reservoirs periodically.)
Once the power has returned, check to make sure that all electronics are operating as expected.
Power Supply Stopped Working:
If you believe the Garden itself has lost power, check the indicator light on the power supply, is it on? If your power supply does not have an indicator light is the power supply hot or cold to the touch?
If the indicator light is off or power supply is cold to the touch, this usually indicates an issue with the power supply.
If the indicator light is off or power supply is cold to the touch, please reach out to us with a photo of your Garden's current power supply, that clearly shows the product information.
If the the light is on, or the power supply is hot to the touch, there may be an issue with the control board please follow our Control Board Troubleshooting steps HERE.
